  • Glucose is converted into ethanol

  • Microbes such as yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae)

  • Found in beer, wine etc.

Temperature:

Ales: 18ËšC - 21°C
Lagers: 10ËšC - 13°C

pH:

pH 4.0 - 5.5
